Induction
This section is designed to help you design and prepare an induction programme for Managers and Supervisors and others with full or partial responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environmental Management responsibilities on sites where minerals are being extracted and processed. Sites will normally be covered by the Quarry Regulations (1999) but may also be marine sites where materials are being dredged.
Induction training is part of the familiarisation process for new employees or where personnel are transferred to new areas of responsibility.
